Finally,cell culture was over.
I shall tell u guys the final days of it
Last fri,we already grown as much HEGs pr MCF-7s..
But den,probs spring up as yx,halim and regina's confluency could not match the required confluency.As i did cultured 6 cultures of extra HEPG-2s,which was then prepared in case i could not meet the required confluncey-i have already done tat to spare them.(HAlim's was contaminated).In the end,no one fulfilled all the required confluency of all 6 flasks..Regina,halim & me went on to do viable cell count from frozen cells..
Regina de both HEPG-2 & MCF-7 was both 90% viable cells
Mine was 86% & 88%.
Halim was HEPG-2 was 96%,but MCF-7 was 20%,as tat time he froze MCF-7,his confluency was onli half the required confluncy of 70%..
Fortunely our TSOs treated us to Pizza Hut at Ang Mo Kio..
Last Fri went back to school..it was nth much as Mdm ruhida(maybe wrong spelling) & Mr Roy briefed us bout graduation day(wa,tat one was in May leh..) & Presentation..sian la,finish IA in nyp still need come back to school.WTF man.i tot got holidays..8-5pm somemore..T.T(Hopefully cn early dismiss).need to wash tubes,maintain equipment along wif those in-hse ia ppl..
Shortly after the briefing,i have to pei regina to help her to print her qc na prac assignment as she have no idea where to print and her hse de printer ran out of ink.Luckly MLC did open,after tat went on to cafe 1 to pei edvin and company..But then this time,aidil,jean,hanizah,xin mao,shi yun did not sit along wif edvin,kai hsun,benjamin,yx,yun kai,like they used to(xin mao onli wanted to pei jean.).There are rumours tat Our class de unity is slowly falling apart.wonder if this is really true anot...Went on to nyp to pass cell culture notebook to supervisor,den went on to maple(i now maple more and more rarely,as i cant find time for it,hehe).I have no idea tat day was on x2 exp,i was earning exp from 24%-72% in just 1.5hrs when ting wanted me to pei her,which i eagerly agreed,bo chup tat x2 exp when frens are more important den maple,despite this x2exp is hard to come by.after she bought vaentine's day gift for CK(she succeeded anot u cn go and guess for urself).i den went on to yew tee to find her & bc(hu onli pei us till 6pm plus)we chatted till like going to 8pm den left home..
